Critical Mass iOS port

Not sure if this is the proper venue for this post, but does anyone know if there are plans for Critical Mass to be released for iOS devices? After being disappointed again and again by poorly designed games for mobile devices, I got to thinking about this really great but simple space squadron turned base game I played back in the nineties called Critical Mass. I've still never played a game quite like it since, and would love to see it hit the mobile market. I Noticed that most of Sean o Connor's games are already for download on the App Store, but of all the games o'connor put out Critical Mass was easily my favorite. Does anyone have any news on this?
